- As the First International Sales Man of Hyundai Motor Company and The Regional Sales Representative of American Continents after Joining Hyundai in 1976, I had exported 5 units of the first Korean Automobile "Pony" to Ecuador in the March of 1977 in the exchange of Ecuadorian Bananas through the Pacific Fruits Company in the United States(Barter Trade), after I visited the Head Office of Pacific Fruits Company in New York, USA and signed a Barter Trade Contract with them in March of 1977. Also I had exported first two units of Pony Automobile to Chile in the May of 1977. then I had traveled almost all countries in the Central and Southern American Continents until the end of 1977 and exported total 9,872 units of Pony Automobiles and Pick-ups to these countries, especially almost 1,000 units of Pony to Guatemala. The Countries I had exported Pony are Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Ecuador, Chile, Suriname, Curacao of Netherland Antilles, visiting these countries every three or four days one time repeatedly and continuously .
